I had high hopes for this book when I ordered it. I thought, “118 practical life skill projects crammed into one magical book...what a great concept for teens!” It was like taking over 100 how-to YouTube tutorials, minus the annoying advertisements, and compiling them into one reference book for young adults. Possibly something they would have on their book shelves after leaving home and venturing out on their own. To the future!!! Then I opened the book. It’s about as visually interesting as a minimalist painting. Every page looks nearly the same. And where there are illustrations, they are this awful shade of dull yellow. The kind of color you would not find in a Crayola crayon box.
