...saw the movie: if this book is as good as the movie it should make a good read. Redford played the lead and he was very good. A bit far fetched, but then it is fiction.

A fine read, not a must read but was not a waste of time. A blockbuster at the time of his writing. Bring it to the lake and 3-4 days is what it takes to read it.
