Poppy and Branch discover that they are but one of six different Trolls tribes scattered over six different lands and devoted to six different kinds of music: Funk, Country, Techno, Classical, Pop and Rock. A member of hard-rock royalty, Queen Barb, aided by her father King Thrash, wants to destroy all other kinds of music to let rock reign supreme. With the fate of the world at stake, Poppy and Branch set out to visit all the other lands to unify the Trolls in harmony against Queen Barb.

My only complaint: why does rock music have to be the bad guy?

‘Trolls World Tour’ is the second adventure of Poppy, Branch and their friends where they go around Trolls Kingdom to save five strings of each genre of music; Techno, Pop, Funk, and Classical from the Rock-n-Roll leader, Queen Barb. With all the strings, Queen Barb can change their harmonious and diverse Troll Kingdom to one genre of music which is Rock-n-Roll! This movie has amazing messages about supporting diversity, making friends, developing good relationships, and being able to accept other people’s differences. In the movie the king of Funk, King Quincy says, “denying our differences is denying the truth of who we are.” Since this movie is mostly about music and saving the world of music, I would recommend this movie to all music lovers young and old or to anyone would just loves a good movie with amazing messages! 5/5- @LibbyTeen of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board

I watched this movie on a whim, needing something bright and light! It was definitely a kid's movie so there were moments that a bit boring for me as an adult, but there was a great message of inclusion and appreciating differences! My favorite troll was "Tiny Diamond" and the music and animation were great!

I'd heard so many negative reviews about this movie, I wasn't expecting great things, but it was pretty good. Our whole family (two adults, a teenager, and a 3rd grader) really enjoyed it. Probably not quite as good as the first one, but still a fun time!

"Overall, I really liked this movie. I think the first one is better in how it handles the characters and the overall story, but I’ve reviewed that one. I’ll rewatch it again someday lol. Anyways, I like the characters still, there isn’t anyone I dislike. I think Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake really do their thing as Poppy and Branch and manage to keep them fun (even though Poppy super annoyed me)." A colorful family fun new favorite with music and the same adorable Trolls returning from the previous 2016 film. This time they are adding new faces and music tracks for all ages to enjoy.

This movie was absolutely horrible! The first one was pretty funny, so I had high expectations for this one. Sadly, I was greatly disappointed. Trolls World Tour is both predictable, and boring. The movie just keeps on lagging on and on, and there was some things in this movie that are not suitable for ages 8 and under. So please, don't waste your time watching this movie, and if you have younger kids, this is not the movie for them!

Did you like trollz? Then you'll also like trollz world tour: more dad rock. Its pretty standardly the same movie but instead of a clumsy allegory for depression and low self esteem its a clumsy allegory for racism. I personally very much enjoy both movies but I can't bring myself to give it above an average star rating lol.
