This is a very good story and very well told.
This is the story of an innocent man who was sent to prison and how he perservers in his efforts in proving his innocence.

I was so glad to find out about 'Brian Banks'. I'd never heard of him, his dream of being a football player or his grievous story. I cried for him and the thousands like him that are used, abused, and forgotten in an evil system led by evil people. I saw how God worked through his life tying up so many loose ends and, like Job, he got God's best. Well worth watching and praying for daily those who are still forgotten.

A high school football prep star gets accused of a crime he did not commit. Great story and great cast. Love Aldis Hodge from his Leverage days. It's good to see him in a major role like this. A must see!

Great story, ok acting, script and directing are good enough. This is an incredibly moving story, I think it's worth watching. Not a movie one would expect to get nominated for to awards.

They probably manipulated my emotions with this film. It is kinda' simple, but this type of story must be told. Based on a true story of a black youth accused and convicted of rape. Another case of an African-American screwed by the white justice system. No Morgan Freeman on the credits, so maybe he volunteered his services to avoid legal troubles with the actors' union.

"Brian Banks" is an excellent movie and it deserves 5 Stars. The Audience's Rating on Rotten Tomatoes is 97% which truly was 5 Stars by that entire audience as well.
This is a true story and it provided me with a far greater sense of compassion for what this particular man endured, and it made me realize how so many, many others have been imprisoned unfairly also.

Justin Brooks: Brian, I want to help you. I do. And in a perfect world you and I would just waltz into the court, you tell them what Shayla said and they'd reopen your case. But that is not the world we live in. The system is broken. It's what I'm trying to tell you. It just doesn't care.

Brian Banks: I'm just suppose to accept that? That the system is broken? You know what I say to that? Fuck the system. No, for real, man. Why can't we at least try? What is the system? It's people. yeah, It's cops, lawyers, judges. If one of them ha just cared enough to even go down that hallway Kennisha said I dragged her, listened to how the tiniest little noise echoes, I wouldn't have this damn thing on my leg... Mr. Brook.

Justin Brooks: Justin...

Brian Banks: Justin. I know the system doesn't care about me. I've known that my whole life. The question is, do you?
