Baby wants a pet, but his parents say he's not ready and they're too expensive. So how can he steal the money he needs to get one? The answer: rob a bank. Now the dilemma is, which pet should he choose. He gets many different animals, but eventually is found out. A final conundrum: what to do with all the animals?!

I read this book to my five year old son and we both really enjoyed it. The premise: Frank the baby really wants a pet, but his parents are adamant - they are not getting one. Frank decides to buy one on his own and keep it a secret, but realizes he needs money to do so. So what does he decide to do? Rob a bank! The entire story is written in rhyme, and of course the baby learns it is wrong to steal at the end of the book and makes amends. Highly recommend for reading out-loud and then having a discussion with your little one about what the baby did wrong and why.
