This was the BEST out of the Beacons of hope series by Jody Hedlund. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Along with the heroine, I quickly fell for the most charming of the leading men. Charming, handsome, witty, self sacrificing..sigh* a true storybook!!

I'll be honest though sometimes the heroine annoyed me with her over eagerness to do 'everything' and be the perfect mother bear. I'll conclude that this was written for character development ( a young woman pursuing her passion and for her to make peace with her past. Overall, well done.

I really love this book! One of my favorite. Tessa has to go through a lot in this novel and I like how she doesn't give up no matter how difficult things get.
