A quiz oriented approach to investigating what kind of investor you are - as the reader. Michael Pompian provides a solid and succinct review of psychology theory relevant to investment psychology and personality. The book then focuses on four personality types (from an investment perspective), being the Preserver, Follower, Independent and Accumulator. Knowing the type of investor you are, will help the investor be attuned to how they are reacting in certain market conditions, and know how to circumvent the underlying emotional behavior or natural inclination/tendency. By at least being aware of these psychological conditions of your own investment behavior's - you might be able to correct for them, and improve your own returns - in doing so.
