Book - 2011
"Someone is stalking agent Justine DeCabrillac through London's gray streets. Under cover of the rain, the assassin strikes--and Justine staggers to the door of the one man who can save her. The man she once loved. The man she hated. Adrian Hawkhurst. Adrian wanted the treacherous beauty known as 'Owl' back in his bed, but not wounded and clinging to life. Now, as he helps her heal, the two must learn to trust each other to confront the hidden menace that's trying to kill them--and survive long enough to explore the passion simmering between them once again."--from cover, pages [4]

Add a CommentA smart historical romance. Witty dialogue and great characters. This is an integral part of the Spy-masters series where each book adds depth to the secondary characters who become the H and h in this story.
4/5 great read by an insightful spy author. To read more follow the link (includes synopsis)

I enjoyed this, the plot line was interesting, and for a historical romance it had a bit more to get your teeth into. The author has glossed over huge parts of both the H and h past, I felt the years they were apart needed more detail, to really understand who they have become. Still a good book, though I do not think it matches up to her earlier works.
