Originally from Athens, Georgia - The B-52s were a new wave pop group (of guys & gals) whose quirky musical influences also included a genre-mix of dance, post-punk, and surfer music.

This "Nude on the Moon" anthology is a 2-disc set containing 34 tracks in all (including several remixes) which were recorded by the B-52s in the years from 1979-1999. (*Watch music-video*)

*Note* - In 1985 - (keyboardist and band co-founder) Rick Wilson (32 at the time) died from the devastation of a deadly HIV infection.
