Add a CommentA lovely touching story. Very different from "traditional' Munsch style, as well as the illustration.
Sometimes Munsch's books are overwhelmingly silly... and then he does something like this. There is a lot going on under the surface of this brief, sentimental story of a father and daughter re-enacting the night time lighthouse visits the father used to take with his recently deceased father.
Be prepared to get something in your eye.
