The Funk Brothers, who provided the instrumental backup for most of the great Motown artists, are reunited in this tribute album. With guest vocalists the Brothers perform some great versions of R and B classics in a live setting.

As an added bonus, the producers have included re-mixes of two Motown classics, minus the vocals, in order to show off the virtuoso musicianship of this incredible band. Fans of the legendary Motown bassist James Jamerson will not be disappointed!
